Font used for symbols associated with cross ref markers?

We recently got new laptops and upgraded to FM13 from FM 11. I noticed 1's or 6's that are where I'd expect to see cross reference source markers. Since I couldn't manually delete them, but they would disappear if I turned off the text symbols option, I'm guessing those numbers are displayed instead of the expected symbols because I'm missing a font.

Does anyone know what font Adobe uses form its cross-reference markers?

Thanks!
Barry Jorden

Barry,

I had the same issue. I am not sure how I triggered this change since I had not made any changes to my system for some time. After some extensive research I found these fonts are stored in the fm5font.ttf font file.

To fix my issue, I navigated to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker11\fminit directory, scrolled down until I found the fm5font.ttf file. I right clicked and did the "Install" option.

Once installed I opened FrameMaker and everything was back to normal.

I hope this he

Thank you, Josh! That cleared up the issue (on FrameMaker 13, no less).
