Using FrameMaker 12.0.3.424
Have a page with text content (formatted as a numbered list). In the Frame document, the last list item on this page is #6, with #7 appearing at the top of the next page. The PDF, however, has #7 on the bottom of that page and #8 at the top of the next one.
While this may seem like a strange curiosity that doesn't really matter, I have a rotated Master Page in the same file that is not formatting properly because of this (the wrong page is being rotated).
Anyone have any thoughts?
Update: I just Saved As PDF with the screen on the pages in question: As soon as Distiller started to run, item #7 moved to the bottom of the previous page, then moved back after the PDF was created! Having item #7 start at the top of a page with a Page Break prevents it from moving. But why is this happening!?!?!?
What is your default system printer in the FM session? If it is not the AdobePDF printer instance, then FM has to swap printers during the SaveAsPDF operation and this can cause a re-flow due to differences in the printer metrics (and perhaps the fonts used). There is a (freebie) third-party utility that automatically sets the AdobePDF as the default printer for the FM session and then switches back to your system default. See Sundorne's SetPrint utility at: http://www.sundorne.com/FrameMaker/Freeware/setPrint.htm

There also is a 12.0.4 patch for FM that you should update to.

Changing the default printer to Adobe PDF seems to have done the trick!
Thanks so much for the timely reply : )
I'll update if anything seems to go amiss.
