Hi there,

I work with FM12, a colleague uses FM11.

We work on the same files, so I have to save as FM11.

Is there a possibility, to change the default format in FM12: I'd like to save as FM11 using Ctrl-S and not FM12.

Regards

Chris

Chris,

You would need to write an ExtendScript for this. It would probably be a very short script, one that hijacks the Save event and runs its own little Save-As-FM11 routine. If you don't have scripting experience, I could possibly entertain doing this for you, if you think it might be a feasible solution. You might have to wait a few days.

Thanks for the offer but our IT-department will not like modifying the software this way.

I really hoped for a more intended way of changing the format.

(Like you can find it in MS Word, for example...)

Russ Ward,

I have a similar need, simply from FM2015 to FM12. I believe an Extendscript would work fine for me. If you're still interested, I'd be glad to wait a few days, or a few weeks.

Best regards,
