Workspace options are not available on Mac

I can not choose a new workspace other than getting started. All the rest are grayed out.

Hello @RedBeardCreative Thanks for sharing this. Since you’re currently in the Getting Started workspace, the workspace options are greyed out by design. Please try to switch workspaces, by opening or creating a new document — this will automatically exit the Getting Started workspace. Once a document is open, you’ll be able to switch to any other workspace (like Essentials, Typography, or your custom ones) from the Window > Workspace menu. If it doesn't work, kindly let me know.
