adobe illustrator 2022 working on picture and lost all colour. don't know why

i dont know why i lost all colour when i believe i was just undoing a paint stroke. then message saying couldnt display preview came up. please help?

Could be that there was not enough memory left to preview.

Try to save the file restart the machine an open the file again. See if you can simplify the design, remove unnessecary elements or split up the file if possible.
