Adobe Illustrator Embedded PSD issue.

I am using Adobe Illustrator Beta.  when i place a psd file and attemp to embed the psd it changes the psd to horizontal lines.  My psd is a RGB file and the illustrator file is RGB also.  The PSD is mostly black and white.  The background is white.  I tried a second psd with color back and more color and that psd was fine with embedding.  I will attach a image of how it looks after I embed.  I reset my illustrator and still having this problem.  Please help.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing some more information, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, a public link to a sample PSD file after uploading it to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc. and a screen recording of your workflow and the problem (if possible), so I can check this with the team?

Hello @Drop Dead Zombie,

It seems this problem has been resolved with the latest version of Illustrator. Would you mind updating to Illustrator 29.1 to see if it helps resolve the problem?
