adobe illustrator: Export for screens > final files coming up with an ?

Has anyone had this issue, where there is a ? coming up on the final files,  when I go to export files from the export for Screens? I am on a mac. I do not understand how to get rid of it. It just started happening over the weekend.

I presume you have checked the 'prefix' box on the export for screens page?

it's bottom right just above the Cancel button. this will be added to all exported images.

also check the artboard names as that will get added to the name too.

There is no ? when saved they save like that.

what are your artboards named?

does it happen from every docuement?

does it happen regaedless of where you export to?

They are labled what the file name is JK_. the png or jpg. Its happened before a year ago but then went away I do not understand and i googled and can not find any information.
