AI continual freezing on Macbook Pro

If I leave the application open to return to my work the next day, inevitably it's frozen and I need to force quit. Is this a known problem or something I'm doing wrong?

Which system is it?

I have a Macbook as well and I leave Illustrator open on it for weeks sometimes. Never been an issue. And yes I know I should not do that, because Mac OS is not made for that.

Other people have reported that Illustrator crashes when battery is low.

Just incase you haven't rebooted your system in years, months or weeks, please do that now.
