AI Crashing atleast 2x a week

New Here ,
May 05, 2024 May 05, 2024

Hi! I have been using adobe for years however ever since getting my '21 M1 mac i have had nothing but issues with illustrator, constant tickets to the support team who run tests and say my crashing wont happen again etc.. 3 years later same issues. Sooo hoping someone here may have answers, my issues arent the crashes, but the files i lose during the crashes.

I typically am working on files and when going to save them to the cloud is when i encounter my crashes and now i know where to find my data recovery files but the illustrator app is greyed out when attempting to open the recovery file. The time it takes to constantly recreate client work is immensely exhausting and doesnt seem like there are many resources on youtube / here but if anyone has similar issues and have found a way to maneuver these problems please let me know, thank you in advance!

Which cloud are you saving to?

Does it work better when you save to the desktop?

Hello @brandond36947427,

We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter crashes in the middle of work. Would you mind sharing some more details, like the OS/Illustrator version and exact details of your workflow, when you encounter this problem? Also, kindly submit the crash report using your Adobe email address and share it here for quick tracking. Steps are shared here: (https://adobe.ly/3UOlX7W). We appreciate your time and patience in helping us resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Anubhav
