Hello!
I have a question regarding the anchor points whenever drawing with the pen tool. I am very new in using the Illustrator, right now I am outlining floorplans for some architecture purposes. So as I try to outline and go trough the room corners, when I hit an anchor point my pen tool disappear. I've tried making new layer and draw on it, but the anchor points doesn't show up and the outlining is not precise enough.I am placing the plans from PDF files.
Hope you have a solution.
Thank you in advance!
Regards,
Hris

Hris,
Are you using View>Smart Guides?
They should show when you are within snapping distance (saying anchor when it is an Anchor Point and similarly (intersect for intersection paths, path for (following or coming across) paths, etc)).

Hi Bill,
Yes, of course.
On the first image I just started drawing from the corner of the room so I am trying to draw from that anchor point to the next anchor which is the one marked below it. But whenever I hit the second one it marks the wall's vector and the pen tool disappears.
Hope you managed to get my point (sorry for the bad explanations).

You said that you are drawing over a placed pdf but it is unclear to me whether the pdf is live art. A pdf opened in Illustrator can actually be live art. If it is then even if you try drawing on a new layer your drawing would be affected by it if the artwork layer is not locked.
Make sure that the original layer with your art to be traced is locked by clicking in the space to the left of the layer name to bring up the lock icon (highlighted in screen shot above). Then create a new layer using the new layer icon tab the bottom of the layers panel (next to the trash can icon).

Are you using a CAD drawing program? If so, you don't need to redraw everything - those vectors can be imported and used directly into Illustrator.
