Anchor Points with Pencil Tool in Illustrator [ed. by mod]

Since I updated the latest Illustrator update my pencil tool changed, I've been trying to adjust the settings while double clicking on the pencil tool in the menu bar but I have no idea how to fix it.

I have a Wacom tablet and draw my shapes and it's adding 100 anchor points for small shapes. It wasn't like this before the update as I'm having such a hard time fixing shapes as I draw a lot directly inside Illustrator.

Any clue how I can reduce the anchor point settings before I create my shape?

Thank you for the reply,

This is what I have but I tried a few options and not much changed.

Do you have any clue which settings I should try?
