Anchors and handles

It is a constant struggle for me to select anchors and handles. Maybe my eye-hand coordination is just impossibly bad, but it seems to me that they're just too stinkin' tiny. I've got the largest size selected in my preferences, but honestly, I can't tell the difference. Is there anything else I can do to improve the situation, or am I just going to have to improve my attitude about it?

Thanks!

In Preferences>Selection and Anchor Display - if you've already chosen the biggest size they give you and it's still not working well for you, try increasing the tolerance at the top of the same window. It allows you to click a bit further away from your intended target, and still get it.

I use it a lot when I'm working elsewhere, and they have a lousy mouse...

Instead of trying to click on an anchor point, you might try dragging over it either with the Direct Selection tool or with the Lasso tool.

If you need to select the anchor point by clicking on it, try to position the very tip of the direct selection tool in the center of the anchor point and then click.

Yes, there are times when I do that, but other times when it's just not convenient.
