Is there any function that can arrange layers of elements in such a way that they occupy the smallest part of the sheet possible? It's about true shape nesting functions. I've been looking for this for a long time 😞

kamiw,

You can follow this advice by Kurt in this similar thread,

https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/auto-arrange-multiple-objects-in-artboard/m-p...

"There are plugins and third party apps that can do it (do a Google search for "nesting plugin illustrator")."

I believe I have also seen mentioning of some script(s).
