Art turns into wire frame

Might be a small error, beginner question, but somehow  my art has turned into wireframe art abruptly without warning.

ive tried changing it back, , though illustrator did not allow me to change fill of shapes in and so the lines seem to be stuck in this weird state that cant be altered.

is there a way to reverse the effect?

The object here is selected, and the outline and fill are shown, but there is no color on the artboard.

This seems to be the outline view. Please go to View menu and change it or a shortcut like CTRL/CMD+Y shall help you
