I have some problems to solve in automation processes, regarding linking data between Filemaker and Adobe. Who can I address my queries to? I think there is a department of experts in applied automation for companies. How can I get in touch with them? thanks community

I can't with variables, I need to link a pdf that contains updated data from the filemaker within illustrator, it will surely be in an external application, type indesing, I think the best thing would be to make a diagram of the process I need and see if anyone knows how to proceed. Yeah, I think you’re looking at it.

I’m guessing Adobe will ramp up “Automation as a Service” once it finishes UXP and putting PS, AI, and ID into its Adobe Cloud. But that’s probably 2–4 years off. For now it’s pretty much BYO.

If you are looking to subcontract a developer to connect FileMaker and Adobe apps for you, post your project description here and on FileMaker’s user-to-user forums. Several folk here do freelance work.

Also try a Google search to see if a suitable off-the-shelf integration already exists as that will likely be cheaper than bespoke development.

If you already know how to automate both FM and AI and are struggling to connect them together, post a description of your problem here and maybe someone can offer some pointers.

Thank you for answering, first I will formulate my query in a clearer way to see if I can solve this in the Adobe community, if it is not possible with the standard tools, I will have to find custom solutions, I will try to make a schematic indicating my problem as soon as possible clearest.
