Can anyone help me out with this????

This is my company's brochure - the last designer that designed this is nowhere to be found, and I can't seem to find a right tutorial that would bring me to this same result..

The slanted boxes and the shadow - those three is the key, and I just can't seem to figure out how to produce the same effect.

Can anyone please help?

The shadow: a circular gradient on a slim ellipse
