Can't find Properties Panel in Illustrator 2019 on Windows 10

Hi all,

I wanted to start using Illustrator and while following the tutorials, I noticed that I don't have the Properties Panel shown in the videos (neither to the right of the screen, nor in the 'Windows' menu). I've been googling, restarting, reinstalling (different versions as well) for the last hours, but nothing worked. Does anyone have a fix for me?

I attached screenshots of my Version of Illustrator and the 'Windows' Menu. As far as I can remember I never installed Illustrator before and I couldn't find any folders on my system with the appropiate name, so it should be a clean install.

Also, I don't know if it relates to this problem, but I get an error when starting Illustrator (attached): 'Error loading plugins. TorqExtension.aip'.

I hope someone can help me! Thanks in advance!

~Florian

I have no idea why, but I just came back from work and started my computer again... Now it's working!

So for anyone finding this thread looking for a similiar answer: maybe try restarting a few times or stop all adobe services in the Task manager

So you installed it using the Creative Cloud app? Turned off antivirus before installing etc? There are a lot of pges covering the installation process: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/download-install-new-computer.html

You might need to uninstall and install again, please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
