Can't log into new Illustrator-"password and email don't match"

I've changed the password and then entered my Mac password- neither works Help! Running MAC OS 10.13.3

It doesn’t want your Mac password. It wants your Adobe ID and password, the same as you used to post your question (probably).

I think I jumped the gun. I find that Adobe is slow when you change a password. All of a sudden I was allowed in. It takes a little time to process, more so than other sites. Do you find this?
