What will happen if i copy paste an image from the internet on illustrator? Will the images disappear if i open the saved file on another computer?
1 Correct answer
There are two ways to place an image inside an AI file:
1.) embedded image
The image file is always included inside the AI file and will be seen on every computer.
2.) linked image
You have to make sure that the image is either in the same place and the other computer has access to it (e.g. inside your office on a server volume) or if you give your AI file away to someone outside your local network you have to provide the image separately.

If you paste an image copied from a web browser it will be embedded (included) as a 72 ppi image in the Illustrator file.
