desktop and ipad app illustrator not syncing

I'm working on a project on both desktop Illustrator and iPad app, going back and forth. I'm doing this because there are some aspects to the project that I'd prefer to use the Apple Pencil. However, I'm having this issue with the file not syncing. How can I fix this?

Are you pulling the file off the Adobe Cloud?
