EPS files have same icons

Hello there!
Problem is all the icons of EPS files became the same.

Earlier EPS10 was different from EPS11 visually. And in the properties of the files I could see the information in which version the EPS is saved.

Now there is no such info in the properties.

What can I do to make the icons of EPS files different versions again different from each other?

How can I find out in which version the EPS file is saved?

Is the problem in the Illustrator or in my Mac or me?

There is no EPS 11. There is not even an EPS 10.

All there is is EPS 3.

EPS 3 has an Illustrator file embedded which is AI 10 resp. AI 11 or whatever.
