Error al copiar y pegar textos en Illustrator

Buenos días. Tengo problemas para copiar y pegar textos dentro de Illustrator. Copio el texto pero luego no aparece habilitada la opción de pegar. Me temo que tiene que ver con alguna configuración de mi PC. A alguien le pasó? Muchas gracias

• Which tool are you using?
• Any chance you are on a locked layer?
• Can you paste your copied text to another application?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I hope Monika's suggestions helped resolve the problem. If not, please try running Illustrator after rebooting your computer in Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps.
