Error code when using outside ai generated art in illustrator.

Does illustrator purposely stop a user from creating vetor art from an outside ai generator art pic? It is becoming a pattern. I have done some great art in illustrator, using it for years. I am getting so angry that this is happening. The ai app i use is great. I think adobe's ai generated art is not as good. I am feeling like I need to quit illustrator.

Please clarify your issue, as this is vague How does Illustator stop you from creating vector art in a separate application?

  • Are you copying and pasting from one to the other?
  • Are you exporting from the other app to Illustrator? In what format?
  • Are you using File > Place in Illustrator?

We need to know the steps you are using and exactly what happens when it doesn't work.

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to the Adobe Illustrator forum for you.

It's probably jiust that the generated file format is sloppily formatted. Open it in Photoshop, save as a PSD, JPEG or TIF and then try again placing in Illustrator.

Do not copy/paste. It will ruin your color management anyway.
