Error installing Adobe Illustrator CS4 on Windows 10

Hi I am trying to install Adobe Illustrator CS4 on Windows10 and the following error keeps popping up:

"Critical errors were found in setup. Please see the setup log for details"

Here is what I have tried so far based on other forum discussions without any luck:

1) Used "Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool".

2) Uninstalled all Adobe products on my laptop.

3) Tried installing the software on a Guest user profile on my laptop.

4) Ran the "Cleanup Script for Adobe CS4"

My laptop details are:

OS: Windows 10

RAM: 16 GB

Storage: 1TB SSD

Processor: Intel i7-6700 HQ CPU@2.60 GHz

System Type: 64-Bit OS, x64-based processor

I have also attached the link to the log file from the installation process:

CS4 is a 32 bit application. Did you install it in compatibility mode?

Yep, no luck there either. Error this time was: "Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance"

In that case you might just have reached the dead end.

It's a very old application that was made long before anybode would even think of Windows 10. Windows 10 contains changes in the architecture that might just not offer stuff that Illustrator CS4 needs to run or even install.

When you want to run old software, you will usually need an equally old system for it.

It's generally not recommended that you run an older software version like CS4 on a newer OS like Windows 10.  Under our system requirements page for CS4, only up to Windows Vista is officially supported. System requirements | Adobe Illustrator

I agree with Monika in that it may prove difficult to get CS4 working unless you install an older OS.
