Exporting Layers to AI files

Is there a script that will:

Export Ai layers to Ai files naming the new files with the layers names?

You can do this in Photoshop.

Any help would be so appreciated

Do a search on

savePageLayersTOPDF

You will have to modify the script to make .ai files but that should not be a problem.

Hi Adam,

Did you get this to work? I have looked for the script using the link in your post but it appears to have gone.
