Extension not loading for second time

Hi everyone,

hop you are doing well. I am creating an extension in which i am loading and saving data from .txt files. when i installed extesion using ZXP Installer and load Illustrator, it load and works fine. during extension usage. it creates a folder "data" in extension's folder. After using app, i close the Illustrator app and reload it. at that time it i am checking if "data" exists in extension's folder, load data in extension from it but it doesn't load. not even a single control on extension panel. if i manually remove that folder, close illustrator and load it again, it works fine. Can any body tell me what can be the reason behind this?

When you generate ZXP, you add a signature to make sure the folder has not been tampered with. So maybe if you tamper directly with the extension folder, it will not start.

Would it work if the data folder is generated in some other folder?

Yes, your are right. it is due to mentioned reason. Trying to figure out alternate solution.
