files look different on different PCs

I have a very strange problem.

At work all PCs have the same version of Illustrator installed (as far as I can judge), provided from a central service (Adobe Illustrator CC2018 22.0.1 (64 bit); I work in an academic hospital). When opening a file on different PCs (not at the same time) the picture on screen shows different. (see two pictures below). It look like it is a stroke problem on some of the PCs.

However, if I do an export (f.i as a PNG) all look the same. Lines look nice, and do not have the scribbled appearance although it looked like that on the screen on some PC. As a consequence, I can now only work on half of the PCs at my work, which makes life more complicated since we have flex-desks.

Has anybody seen this before?

Apart from an inadequate card, the issue can be caused by lack of driver updating, lack of proper recognition of the card by the computer, and whatnot.

You may try a graphics card update, or wait it out hoping the issue gets sorted.

Thanks! It works! I disabled GPU performance on the PCs that showed the problem and it all looks the same now!
