Freezes and closes

I'm working in Illustrator for a while and after a while the screen freezes and closes without being able to save my work. This is happening after the latest Illustrator update. I am wasting time and money. Please correct the error.

For me, any pop-up I try to open, including Preferences, gets closed down automatically, right before it opens. This includes saving, creating a new file and so on. Every box that has to be opened on top of the program screen gets closed down.

I reverted to the precious version of Illustrator and the problem was solved for me.

Hi All, 

 

I understand crashes are frustrating. There could be multiple reasons (hardware software, connection, etc.) why an app would crash. We have fixed a few crash issues in the v26.0.1 released recently. Please update Illustrator to this version and let us know how it goes.
