Hi everybody, i'm trying to create an effect similar to this but the result is not as expected ... I'm using the blend tool on a wavy line but the result is not similar, what other method can I use?

This was the best I could do now ... but it looks like in Image 1 the lines have some aspects in 3D, I tried the 3D extrusion tool but I do not think that is the way

To expand a bit on what Monika said, the lines in the example image are made up of semi-circles, where yours are more like sine waves, possibly generated by the Zig Zag effect. Also, the lines in the example are tilted at 45°, where yours are at 30-something. Nothing wrong with it, it's just different.

Yeah, I tried to use the zigzag effect in a straight line until I realized that half circles would be ideal, after that the result has improved a lot.

Thank you for your support!

The lines in your example image are different. But I don't see your issue with your own result.

It seems to be obvious that your main issue is to build a construction that shows the front sides as well as the back sides of the wavy walls.

Therefore I'd recommend to just draw certain parts manually, instead of relying on some imperfect automatisms with blends.

Exactly, I opted for the manual mode as you recommended. The path I found was to create a pattern like in the image and repeat it, but I think there may be a more practical method of recreating it, because it is a simple geometric form.

I also got a similar shape using Extrude & Bevel but I do not know how to apply the degrade effect on it, do you have any suggestions?
