I am in need of some technical help in recreating the image attached.  I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the UC San Diego text to look like the Wildcat text below it.  Any suggestions?HOODIE_M-(Example).pngexpand image

Create the lines and group them. Place them on top of the text and select both.

use Make Mask in the Transparency Pallet to apply the lines as gaps to the text.
