How do i create a clipping mask?

I would like to fill this t shirt template with the pattern i created but i am unsure of how to not have the pattern leave the shirt boundaries. Thanks in advance for any answers

The shirt looks like there is one path around it. You will need to check that. Select the outermost path and inspect it using the layers panel.

Move the pattern to where you want to have it.

Then you can Edit > Cut the pattern.

Select the path and click on "Draw inside" in the tools panel

Paste in place
