How to center icons without detailed parts centering as well

Thank you in advance for your time. I am looking to center the camcorder but as you can see in the second image, the detailed objects are centering as well. Is there a way to center the camcorder but have the detailed objects center in relation to the camcorder. The end result I want is the camcorder to look like it does in the first image but be centered on the artboard like it is in the second. Thank You!
