How to disable anchor point removal?

whenever i use the pen tool, sometimes when i click the anchor points its getting removed, how do i disable this???

You can disable it in Preferences > General > "Automatic Add/Delete off" (or the like, I have a German version)

It happens with internal (non end) Anchor Points, and you should be able to see the change into the Delete Achor Point Tool (bundled with the Pen Tool).

You should use the Direct Selection Tool or the Scissors Tool or whichever, depending on what you wish to do to the Anchor Point.

You cannot disable it from happening,

Watch next to the Pens nib icon

If you see a plus or minus sign , and you just want to continue the line

hold down the shift key before you click.

If you want to start a new path Esc or p on the keyboard
