Is there an easier way to expand a library item that you've dragged into your file?

Currently the only way I see it is you have to embed and do a ton of Ungrouping, Release Clipping Mask etc.

Would be nice to simply drag the vector library item into my file hit 'expand' and be able to edit as a unique item.
