Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to print a neon light tube effect but for a CYMK print?
My RGB one is looking good using the different colour glow effects but when I converted to cmyk and changed the colour codes and placed back on black background all the coloured outer glows turned white?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
Cherie,
I am afraid the long answer is the use of additional inks.
Some printers have inbuilt additional inks for vivid colours, and then there is the option of spot colours/inks, depending on the way of printing.
Neon colours and CMYk are a bit like fire and water.

Can you show the design?
There are probably a lot of raster based effects. This will be turned into raster images anyway when you export a PDF for print, so why not export the RGB version as a raster image at a sufficient resolution and then place it into your layout and then generate the PDF?
