Is it possible to run a script from an action?
Seems calling a script from a menu does not recordind into an action.

The latest Illustrator version CC2018 can have scripts in actions. And it can even save those actions and the script stays inside them.

Monika- Can you explain how to get the script inside the action? I inserted a Menu item for scripts and it's now listed in the action but it doesnt do anything. I didn't get to choose which script either.

    Which version?

    Which system?

    What does the script do?

    Is it properly installed?

Did you doeverything in the action that the script is requiring in order to run?

you should be able to add it vie 'insert menu item'. but when you restart illustrator, that step will be gone from what you recorded. it was a very old bug.
