I'm trying to turn this logo into complete black, I need to turn it into black so that the printing store can apply UV cover on it. but it seems that there's no way to trace the white part out. Has anybody traced an image or logo that contains white and transparet background? Advice is very appreciated!acumen logo with slogan black.png

You have a black & white version already?! Not sure what else you need. It seems you are overthinking this. Concern yourself only with the geometry, not the colors and use whatever is the most suitable method.

That would be better traced manually, type-reset, or you might try harder to find the original vector version that surely exists somewhere.

If for some reason you must auto-trace, tick the Ignore White checkbox in the Image Trace Options panel.
