I want to use the apple pen to create drawings and thought it would be ideal to do so using ipad pro. How can this connect to illustrator please? I know about the app but can the full illustrator be downloaded if the memory pack is big enough? 256GB
Thanks

You can't run Illustrator on an iPad.

Check the operating system... does it have the FULL Mac operating system, or a reduced version for that device?

But there is a vector drawing app from Adobe (Draw, see here) that you can use on your iPad and send the results to Illustrator.

Draw app has very limited and cumbersome transforms etc. Frustrating. I wish there was Illustrator for ipad so I could draw directly with pencil and use hand gestures...

Of course you can... via Astropad app.

The application needs to run on a desktop computer then and Astropad will only help you use the iPad as a graphic tablet (a poor version of a graphic tablet). Which might not really be what jennifer is asking for.
