Hello - I have one problem: all my website layouts are programmed too big and nobody knows why.

I always layout with the normal web template in Illustrator "1920x1080px".

After the layout export the PDF looks normal in full view. But after it's programmed, the website looks 20% too big.

Does anybody know the reason?

This is probably because you're looking at the PDF in fullscreen mode; and once coded it will be viewed in a browser, with all of the user interface around it.

Can you upload a screenshot of the design for us to look at, please?

as you can see, it's way bigger...

Not only the font, but also the background image is isolated...

Designing in Illustrator, exporting a PDF and then?

Embedding the PDF in a web page? How?

Just linking to that PDF?

Uploading it to Wordpress or the like?

And that means what?

The programmer just embeds the PDF into an HTML page?

Or the programmer codes it using HTML, CSS and images and uses the PDF as a template?

I hope the programmer has told you that you can't expect this to be pixel by pixel exactly as your PDF. THat's just not how the WWW works.
