Illustrator CC 2017 not opening

I am having issues opening Illustrator on my  MacBook Pro (running latest Sierra). I keep getting an error message "Adobe Illustrator was unable to identify the cause of the crash". I use the application regularly and have never had any issues previously. I attempt to select "reopen" but it continues to "crash", and when I "run diagnostics" it doesn't come back with any known issues.

I attempted to uninstall and install the application again, but the problem persists. 😞 Please help. Thank you in advance!

Hi Stacey,

Please share the crash report that you get when the app crashes. Also try to reset the preferences and then launch. In order to do that, Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Illustrator.

Regards,

Om
