Illustrator Corner Widget Breaks when scaled to 100%, EVERY TIME!

Every single time I apply a corner radius at 100% on a rectangle or square, I am unable to scale the corners back to their original square shape? Adobe can you fix this please??

I've just confirmed on my system that I can fully round the corners and then get them back to their square originals.

What version are you on?

Have you tried resetting the Preferences?

How to set preferences in Illustrator

"Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) as you start Illustrator. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Illustrator."
