Illustrator Crashing or not even loading

I am at my whits end. 

Illustrator has had issues for months with it crashing, but now i cannot even open it up without it being stuck on the loading page (where it will load fonts, settings etc) 

or it opens but as soon as i try to add even a blank document it freezes. 

I cano only use force quite to get out of it. 

I have used illustrator on this PC for 2 years no issues.

.I have resinstalled, reset settings, updated QPU Driver (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti)

the other apps open just fine. 

surely someone has a solution? do i need to revert to an older version?

I suppose you reboot the system regularly. Did you also already reset the preferences?

Are all your fonts 100% OK?

Do you use font management?
