Hi together,
After I reinstalled Adobe Illustrator CS6 I have a weird problem: When I´m about to design a logo with some text fields I always get an "Unknown Error" when I try to save the file as an .ai.
I also tried saving as an .eps file but that also does not work (Error: "Can´t save the illustration. Can´t print the illustration") Same error occurs when I try to print the file.
I did some experiments and found out when I remove the text or make it invisible I can save and print the file.
Does anybody know what is going wrong here?
I run Illustrator CS6 on a MacBook Pro (2011) with OSX Sierra.
Thanks in advance!

What type of font are you using? OpenType, TrueType or PS1?

Hi Larry,
I looked up my font collection on my Mac and saved a copy of font´s info I want to use. The 5th line says "Type: OpenType TrueType" (Sorry the screenshot contains the german designators..)
Does that help?

Does that happen with all fonts or just this one?

@Monika Gause: Yes this happens with all fonts I selected already. And I tried quite a lot
@dougofakkad: Why is this a problem? Do you mean the Notebook or the OS?

The OS. This forum is full of Sierra threads.
And then: it's not fully compatible with CS6.

it's possible that this is the problem.
