Illustrator problem

I received illustrator artwork in which a refinement layer has been created in the form of a path. 
This layer also contains a link, but I cannot select or delete this link. 
All the shapes used in this layer are not even visible in vector mode, only the outer line is visible.
How can I reach this link?

How do you even determine that it is a link? We are talking about hyperlinks to URLs?

Or is this about a linked image in the document?

In this layer the bottles are linked photoshop files used as mask in this layer.

If it is an opacity mask, please look for it in the transparency panel.
