Illustrator became suddenly slow in basic actions, like activating an object, then trying to move it.
I reinstalled the software, which helped for a moment, then back again to slowness.
At the moment the software is unusably slow.
Please tell us about your computer. THe hardware specifications.
You can Ungroup the generated objects, which will then disconnect them from AI.
But they do also consist of a lot (an awful lot) of paths. ANd of you duplicate that a dozen times in your file, that could be quite a heavy load to handle.

Are you on a Mac?
Do you have a window manager installed? Magnet, Rectangle or anything like it?

Yes I have a (powerful) Mac, no window managers installed. The point is that I have already drawn my project for weeks without problems, but suddenly simple activating an object lasts for several seconds. I have not changed anything. in the system. I have 4 layers, two of them empty. Not at all complicated design on two layers. Restarting the software does not help.

Do you reboot the system regularly?
Where is the file located? On your harddisk?
Which system is it?
Did you change anything on the computer or in the file? Different font perhaps? Did you install fonts?

On my harddisk.

Hello @kaitsu12345,
Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to run Illustrator under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps? Also, try running Illustrator under a different administrator account (Windows / macOS) and sharing your observations.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Anubhav

Mike Gondek's idea of healing Illustrator seems to have some positive effect 🙂

The problem might be related with artificial intelligence, as all AI-objects react really slowly. The whole file is probably damaged by AI. And as I many times copy the template to create the next scene, the malfunction follows.

Disconnecting from the AI by Ungrouping was the solution to the problem. Thank You!
