Dear All,

Was wondering if someone could help please...

I get PDFs from engineers which I need to make 'pretty' and get them ready fro printing. Some figures are doubled and even trippled resulting in a 'bold' looking font so I would have to click once on the object and press delete (I deend to do this till the object is gone then I 'undo' to get only one object back. Not sure if I'm explaining myself properly. What I need to know is if I can 'see' if things are repeated on top of each other.

Thanks

When I get that, one quick fix I will try is; Select All (or just the effected parts), then in the Pathfinder Menu, choose "Unite". See if that works for you.

I would think you could open up your Layers panel and see the duplicates.

Does the text come over as editable text or is it converted to paths? If they're paths, then there's a script that seemed to work in removing duplicate paths that's discussed in this thread https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/delete-remove-duplicate-paths/td-p/3275666?page=1
