Hi,
One of my Illustrator files is not showing a preview in the ios app - are there any common causes for this?
About a week ago, the same file had a conflict problem on my MacBook and CC created a different version - I've since deleted the oldest of the two files (neither were generating a preview in the app).
Thanks,
Darren

This doesn’t relate to Adobe Illustrator Draw, the file was created in AI CC on my MacBook and the problem is that the Creative Cloud iOS App isn’t displaying a preview for it.

I had the same problem and solved it by logging out of the CC iOS app and logging in again. the preview of the file was then updated.
This seems like a problem is the Creative Cloud iOS app, as it should update the file preview without needing to logout and login again. It actually updates re-edit time of the file, but no the preview!

Liking out didn’t work unfortunately.
It it seems to be a problem with one specific Ai file.
I‘ll save it as a new project and see if that solves the problem.

did you save it with PDF conpatibility?

Hi Monika,
Yes, I’ve saved it as a copy to a new file and I’m getting the same result.
The file shoes a default .ai icon in the CC app, if I click on it I get a ‘generating preview‘ screen that doesn’t ever change.
My my next step is to copy the artboards over to a new file.
The file itself has 12 artboards, there isn’t a maximum is there?

Depending on your Illustrator version there is a maximum of artboards, but 12 is inside.
