Jagged / Staircase Edges?

I'm getting these jagged edges after adding Appearance > Distort & Transform > Transform and applying this 3D look effect.

Each jagged step corresponds with a copy you added in the Transform effect.

Increasing the numbers of copies will make it more smooth but more copies you have, slower loading you get from your PC.
