Jaggies at 300 dpi?

Hello,

I am having some issues with my art printing with jaggies. I drew some art in Paint Tool SAI, at 300 dpi, yet when I print from Photoshop, I get jaggies. I tried putting the linework in Illustrator, and doing Image Trace, which works well, except that the lines do not align with the color layer at all. The jaggies appear at all sizes, from a 3-inch image to a 10-inch image, and only work when printed from Illustrator (post Image Trace). Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you for all your suggestions! Turns out it is an issue with a printer driver, not the artwork itself.

Image resolution is measured in ppi, not dpi.

That apart, the resolution tells you nothing. If the pixel dimensions are too small, then a high resolution won't get you anywhere. You could create a 4x4 pixel image at 30,000 ppi and it would still be useless.

Set up a file: vector or raster, resolution, color mode and file format

If the file was setup using 300dpi, the resolution is going to be around 72ppi, if not less.  If Paint Tool SAI will let you, set the document output resolution at around 2540dpi and a raster resolution of 300ppi.  I sense you may have been duped into thinking you were working in high resolution.  I'd love to see the artwork.  Maybe I'm wrong, but if I am, let me know.  Something else might be the problem(?).
