Make Blend Tool Objects Separate Shapes

Hi

If i use the blend tool to create a series of steps between two objects (simple example in the image attached below), is there any way to make the individual steps editable, or make them separate objects or shapes?

yup. Object > Blend > Expand.

Also sometimes after you do this you have to ungroup them
